What people are saying about us

Jay Godfrey
Student Since 2023

Top notch BJJ instruction. Everything is clearly explained and demonstrated. As a new practitioner to the gentle art, I was made to feel welcome and from his enthusiasm; you can tell Professor Brandon loves the art and the opportunity to teach it to others. Even when struggling, you’re never made to feel like a burden.  I’ve been to other schools but never felt a sense of closeness or kindness anywhere else. Once you walk through the front door: you’re home.

Matthew Iverson
Student Since 2023

I have been Professor Brandon’s student for over a year, and the knowledge I have gained is immense. His ability to break down every move into a more detailed but easily understood movement has allowed me to propel myself in this art. I enjoy the atmosphere in his classes while enforcing the fundamentals to allow me to grow as a practitioner. Professor Brandon’s Brazilian Jiu-Jistu encourages a community of people who are patient, uplifting, understanding, and solid in the fundamentals. This culture has brought me back repeatedly. The teamwork, culture, and independent focus on the craft of Brazilian jiu-jitsu have brought me out of a dark place to grow more than physically. Overall, I have grown mentally and emotionally to control what I can and not worry as much about what I cannot. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu helps me approach daily problems more patiently since all problems can be overcome with many different angles of approach, and Professor Brandon teaches this. Adjust is the way to go.
